For the curious or new owners, here's a small user guide.

The DeepFoil is an underwater wing that works like an airplane wing, but inverted. Simply hold it with both hands, naturally tilt it downwards to dive, then upwards to ascend, as shown in the drawing below. Speed is essential; otherwise, there will be no magic, and you'll just float on the surface, which can also be very nice, by the way.

An important detail: forget your aviator reflexes. Always make sure to hold the DeepFoil with the flat side, the one with the writing, facing you, and the curved side downwards. The effect only works in this position.

So remember to regularly check during your session that you haven't inverted it.

As for the equipment you need, it's quite simple:

• a mask or goggles to see clearly underwater,
• fins; the faster you go, the more sensations you'll experience during dives (fins are therefore almost mandatory),
• a wetsuit if, like us, you dive in Brittany in February, but this will slightly reduce the effects,
  
• And finally, sometimes a little perseverance! For some, the movement will be innate, and the first dive exhilarating. For others, it will take a few attempts to find the right balance. A successful dive often rhymes with a successful "duck dive."
  From our own experience, you may even sometimes feel frustrated, thinking you're not diving "deep enough," and when you resurface, you'll realize the distance you've traveled.

If you are diving and accidentally drop your Deepfoil: don't panic, it floats and will naturally rise to the surface.

Always ensure you follow safety guidelines and best practices for aquatic sports. When diving, protect your ears and remember to regularly perform pressure equalization maneuvers, even at shallow depths.
