A meeting focused on underwater innovation
The Brittany-Pays de la Loire Interregional Committee of the FFESSM (CIBPL), chaired by David Cartron, plans to partner with NEREÏS OCEAN to enrich and diversify practices within local diving clubs, especially with the DeepFoil.
DeepFoil: the unique sensation of underwater flight
Manufactured in France, without an engine or battery, the DeepFoil is a hydrodynamic underwater wing that is held by hand.Inspired by the profile of an inverted airplane wing and the biomimetics of marine mammals, it converts swimming speed to allow diving, ascending, and orienting with great freedom of movement, offering silent and fluid gliding in the sea as well as in the pool.
Several major areas of collaboration (under development)
This collaboration opens a new path for underwater gliding. Very soon, we will jointly unveil the first concrete actions, and there is no shortage of ideas: sports challenges with DeepFoils, shared events, new experiences… not to mention a few surprises in store! ✨
